Kenzia Dalie is a multi-disciplinary artist, theatre director, Dora nominated set and sound designer and film producer based in Toronto. Designing for outdoor and site-specific spaces, Kenzia is a strong believer that everything around us has the potential to be reimagined, repurposed and recreated.

Designing for Shakespeare adaptations has allowed me to explore
classic text in unique reimagined contexts. I love when I can use space to really ground a story for the audience. Whether that’s watching a haunted Hamlet navigate corporate coldness, a Three-headed Richard chaotically murder his way through a circus or simply
give iambic pentameter to some clowns and explore what happens!

I am one of the co-founders of Full Haus Productions, a company dedicated to
archival filming of new Canadian theatre and producing films
highlighting the experiences of women and queer people.
